Ben Cochran and his team worked tirelessly for me with very difficult issues with workers compensation where the employer wasn't paying the correct wages to me and had decided to send me to doctors not qualified to treat me for my type of injury. Ben got involved and corrected my wages and worked with the Insurance Carrier to allow me to see a doctor that specialized in the field I needed to put me back on the road to feeling better. Because Feeling better was all that I was going to get after this injury on the job. Blair Biser then took my case and filed it with Social Security for disability. That process I have heard is a nightmare in itself, but I did little to nothing with their team taking over that additional headache. I am happy to say that Ben's efforts were successful and that definitely helps me sleep better at night knowing I now have a nest egg to fall back on since I can no longer work in my profession. I just received my approval for Social Security with no rejections and I know its because they took the time to put together the correct paperwork when filing! Let me tell you why Ben is a "Super Lawyer Rising Star" - First, he took on my case, a Fibromyalgia Workers Comp claim, a case which many attorneys did not want to touch due to the fact that it is "almost impossible to win." Second, he had... to pick up the broken, skewed pieces from my previous attorney (that I fired after a year). So, he gets a case that's "not even a winner," a year old, and been poorly managed by another attorney, and has a very difficult, unhappy client (me). I'm writing this email to let you know what type of person Chris Nichols is. About 9 months ago I found myself in a bad situation. Back in September of 2004 it felt like my world was falling apart. I was hurt, scared, and angry and did not know which way to turn.
I pulled out the Yellow Pages and called the firm Chris was working at and told them of my situation and asked if there was anyone at the firm that could help represent my husband. Well Mr. Hardison, they connected me to Chris Nichols. The day that Chris spoke to me I was so broken. I was raw with emotion, scared, in shock and didn't trust a soul at that point. Well, Chris got on the phone. A stranger to me, an attorney that did not know me, but he gave so much in just a couple phone conversations. I told him the situation and he gave me a name of an attorney who he believed might be able to assist in this type of case, because I had no idea which way to turn.
