dominates the downtown furniture market district and can be seen from nearby

Museum, the Furniture Discovery
Center, with the hands-on exhibits of tools and techniques as
well as ergonomic sections. Theatre Art Galleries is an art education and exhibition space in the High Point
Theatre.

Since 1977, High Point's
NC Shakespeare
Festival and its full professional Equity theatre has been
recognized as an important North Carolina cultural, artistic and educational
resource. It is the official North Carolina State Shakespearean
Festival.
