Earlier this week, Hardison & Cochran signed on to be a sponsor of the 4th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday Supper. The event, which will take place on January 19th, is hosted by the Triangle non-profit, Activate Good. Below is a little more information on what takes place at the supper:
During Sunday Suppers, people from diverse backgrounds will come together to share a meal, discuss issues that affect their community, and highlight the power each one of us has to make a difference. At the Sunday Supper, you’ll join fellow community members, Activate Good, and nonprofit partners who will facilitate dinner discussions on community issues.
In 2013, Activate Good welcomed in over 15 non-profits to share their stories of helping folks in the Triangle in hopes to inspire attendees to get out and help their communities and spread the word. The 2014 edition appears to be following the same successful equation as many non-profits have again signed on to be at the event.
“We’re proud to be part of this event and look forward to listening and learning more about various non-profits in the area that are working hard to make our community better,” said Hardison & Cochran Community Director, Bill Campbell.
Hardison & Cochran’s sponsorship of this event includes the purchase of 30 tickets to be given out to those who may be experiencing financial hardship and otherwise would not be able to attend the event.
