Hardison & Cochran Helping Triangle Nonprofits Raise Their Profiles

Raleigh law firm Hardison & Cochran is teaming up with WNCN’s My Carolina Today and Activate Good to provide “Doing Good” segments that will focus on nonprofit organizations in the Triangle.

During 2015, Hardison & Cochran will sponsor two shows a month on select Fridays, allowing Activate Good’s nonprofit partners the opportunity to introduce themselves and explain their mission and ongoing activities.

Activate Good is a nonprofit volunteer center that connects individual volunteers, groups, and companies with more than 250 nonprofit agencies in the Triangle area.

The segments will give the featured nonprofit groups the chance to promote their special events, raise awareness about nonprofit agencies and build volunteer efforts for their charitable causes.

Hardison & Cochran has worked with Activate Good multiple times in recent years and is excited about building a partnership to spread the word about the efforts of nonprofit organizations across the region.

From groups such as A Doorway to Hope, which provides assistance to low income, working families going through a crisis, to Autism Youth Alliance, Activate Good helps provide caring people who can give them a hand in achieving their mission.

The first “Doing Good” segment aired January 23 and focused on Dress for Success, an organization that helps guide women out of poverty by teaching them how to present themselves and gain long term, meaningful employment.

Hardison & Cochran is pleased to sponsor the segments and help bring attention to deserving nonprofit groups that contribute so much to our community. As personal injury lawyers, Hardison & Cochran works every day with people who find themselves facing adversity through no fault of their own.

We understand there are many people who need a helping hand so they can get through a difficult period and move forward with their lives. We believe this partnership with Activate Good and WNCN will contribute to making North Carolina a more caring place to live.
