This winter has been cold (see: very cold) around the state of North Carolina. Due to the costs associated with keeping a house warm, some have turned to alternate sources of heat to keep cozy. Kerosene heaters, electric heaters and fireplaces are all great sources for staying warm in these winter months, but all come with dangers.
