Ashley Young’s official title is attorney, but it could just as easily be North Carolina Travel Guide around the offices of Hardison & Cochran. Ashley is a native North Carolinian hailing from JohnstonCounty, but she has made a few stops along the way. She has called Henderson, Newton Grove, Elizabeth City, Four Oaks, Snow Hill, Topsail Island and Chapel Hill all home at some point in her life. Ashley, her husband Charlie, and their two children, Wiley (6) and Genevieve (5), now call Raleighhome.
After Ashley graduated from SouthJohnstonHigh School, where her father was the principal, she attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill with a degree in Dramatic Art. Ashley worked in the film industry for two years in Charlotteand Wilmington, but she opted to go back to school for a little more education. She enrolled at North Carolina Central University School of Law where she graduated with honors and quickly went into practice after passing the bar exam. Ashley has represented personal injury plaintiff cases her whole career. In 2011, she brought her talents to Hardison & Cochran.
Ashley enjoys her role as an intake attorney. In keeping with Hardison and Cochran’s philosophy of educating people about their rights, she explains the applicable law toc callers, whether or not the firm takes the case. “My goal is to leave each caller with the impression that we care,” said Ashley.
Ashley is an active member of the Hardison & Cochran Running Club and recently finished the Raleigh Rocks Half Marathon with a time of 2 hours and 37 minutes. She also enjoys music and recently attended “Bach & Roll”, an event which benefits Community Music School of Raleigh.
